Unique Antarctica Journeys

These journeys may travel to some of the most remote regions of the Southern Ocean, include unique aspects such as visits to rarely visited areas around Antarctica or include out of the way ports of call. Or they can include unusual activities such as an Alpine Crossing or an Eclipse.

Emperor Penguin Safari
Exclusive 14-day voyages to Snow Hill Island, in the Weddell Sea in Oct/Nov. These voyages will offer an extended visit to an Emperor Penguin rookery that has only been visited once before. Departing from Ushuaia, Argentina these voyages offer a remarkable and unique chance to see Emperor Penguins on short voyages. These voyages are designed with the needs of photographers and amateur naturalists in mind, offering as much time as possible with the Emperors. While local weather and ice conditions will determine the final plans, the goal is to offer multiple opportunities to visit the rookery, including a night visit.

Epic Antarctica via the Phantom Coast and Ross Sea
During this 31-day voyage we plan to visit the Phantom Coast. Ours is the only passenger expedition to explore the seldom-visited region in 2009-2010. For two centuries, the ice-locked coastline defied the efforts of explorers to chart it. Exploring the Phantom Coast is still a challenge for all but the toughest vessels.
