Join a discovery journey that will take you to experience one of the most exciting photo-safaris in the world – seeking, encountering, and approaching Antarctic whales, the most legendary inhabitants of the Southern Ocean.
Day 1
Embark the M/V Ocean Nova in Ushuaia (Argentina) and sailing along the Beagle Channel to Port Williams, the southernmost town in Chile.
Day 2
Crossing of the legendary Drake Passage, escorted by albatrosses and giants petrels. Lectures are given by our experts, while searching for the first Antarctic whales.
Days 3-7
Cruise between the South Shetland Islands and the western coast of the Antarctic Peninsula, sailing along ice-filled fjords and among spectacular icebergs. Each day, disembark by Zodiac and explore the landscape. The Expedition Team sets the voyage route to take advantage of the ever-changing opportunities provided by Nature, crafting a unique experience. Possible visits include Paulet Island, Hope Bay, Deception Island, Port Lockroy, Petermann Island, Paradise Bay, the Lemaire Channel, or others.
Days 8 - 9
Recrossing the Drake Passage, we invite you to relax and take the time to watch wildlife from the bridge or outside decks while enjoying lectures given by our Antarctic experts. Sailing along the Beagle Channel to Port Williams, before continuing to final destination.
Day 10
Disembarkation in Ushuaia , Argentina.
