Arctic Watch

Arctic Watch is a five-star wilderness lodge and world-class beluga whale observation site. It features private lodging for two, locally-sourced gourmet dining and plenty of fully-guided activities such as hiking, kayaking, river rafting and exploring the Arctic tundra in all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and a Mercedes Unimog. This will be a truly raw and untouched Canadian Arctic experience for nature enthusiasts around the world, all accessible within a short flight from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.

Located 500 miles north of the Arctic Circle and 50 miles from the nearest town, Arctic Watch is a permanent wilderness resort that offers hotel-like accommodations in a remote Arctic setting. Our guests experience the beauty and wonder of this fabulous place, while enjoying the comforts of home and delicious meals. Cabins are unheated, however a warm comforter is included in each cabin. The average daytime temperature is 50 to 54 F (+10C to +12C). At night, the sun is still up, but it is lower on the horizon and the temperature is about 10 (5C) degrees colder.
